Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, located along the shores of Lake Michigan in northern Michigan’s Benzie and Leelanau counties, is just a short drive from Crystal Mountain. This 70,000-acre national park includes 35 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and the North and South Manitou Islands. Crystal Mountain offers numerous outdoor adventure programs that enable you and your family to experience the splendor of Sleeping Bear.

Crystal Mountain to Sleeping Bear Dunes Visitor Center in Empire

Hart Visitor Center in Empire, Michigan - approximately a 30 minute drive. The southern half of the park, known as the Platte River District, is a shorter distance.
