Bike Benzie Tour and Fondo

Saturday - June 6, 2015

Created by the Benzie Sunrise Rotary Club and hosted by Crystal Mountain for the last seven years, the Bike Benzie Tour is an annual charity ride for the benefit of area youth.

The event offers three picturesque rides through beautiful northwest lower Michigan that challenge riders of all ages and abilities. Benzie County and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, where a large portion of the 100-mile loop is located, provide a rare combination of incredible natural scenery and perfect cycling terrain. Also, great food stops along the way feature regional snacks and more. All three rides start and end at Crystal Mountain.

Tour & Fondo

Riders looking to challenge themselves against the clock can take part in the Bike Benzie Fondo. A fondo is a timed ride to compare a biker's ride duration to other riders covering the same distance. However, it's not a race against anyone but yourself! Each rider in the fondo will wear a timing chip around their ankle.

Registration

Saturday, June 6 beginning at 6am. Riders can depart as soon as their registration is complete.
