Michigan Legacy Art Park: Community Art Project

Saturday - July 12, 2014 | 10am

Kaz McCue will be artist-in-residence at Michigan Legacy Art Park this summer. He will be creating a new public work of art over the course of six Saturdays – July 12 through August 16, 2014. The project will be a collaboration with the community – creating a “hands-on” experience in a cumulative process of building an outdoor installation.

Each session will provide people of all ages to see inside the creative process of a professional artist-in-residence and to learn about how ideas and inspirations can manifest into tangible form. Participants will get to observe and contribute to the visual story that will be told through the work. Each week the installation will continue to grow and change based on the input and work of the participants.

Fee: $10 per adult. Complimentary for youth 17 and under with paying adult.

Register online - OR - call MyNorth Tickets to pay over the phone at (800) 836-0717 during regular business hours.

Reservations are required 24 hours in advance.
