Friday, December 20


5-for-$50 Friday

Bring a group of five people and you ALL ski and ride ALL DAY for only $50!

Buck Quad Celebration, 3-7pm

Join us to celebrate the opening of our new Buck Quad chairlift.Enjoy food, fun, giveaways and more! Celebration will be held at the base of Buck chair on the Kinlochen Plaza from 3-7pm.

Get those last minute Holiday wishes before Santa makes his big trip! Join Santa in the Inn Lounge.

Horse-Drawn Surrey Rides, 6pm

Be whisked away through our winter wonderland by a team of gentle Belgian horses. Rides include hot chocolate and post-ride bonfire. Reservations required, ext. 7000. Cost: $10 per person. Kids 8 and under ride free (One child per paid adult.)


Gingerbread House Workshop, 7pm

Get your Gingerbread House kits at the Park at Water's Edge. $35/kit while supplies last. Then, on Saturday evening at 7pm, join us for a Gingerbread House Building Workshop at the Crystal Center! Construction materials include fresh gingerbread, whipped frosting, and a unique candy assortment. It's a great way to craft a tasty holiday memory! Reservations are required, ext. 7000.

5-6pm: Open Play & Face Paint - Let the kids unwind in this kid friendly fun zone. Geared for ages 10 and under.

6-9pm: Kids Night Out - Geared for kids ages 8 and under. Enjoy a night out while we entertain the kids. Includes a pizza dinner and age-specific crafts and activities on the second floor of the Mountain Adventure Zone. Cost: $35 per child, $5 multi child discounts.

6-9pm: Pool Pals - Swim away the cold winter night playing in the Peak Pool. Includes a pizza dinner. Swimsuits required. Cost: $35 per child, $5 multi child discounts. Geared for kids ages 7-12.

Crystal Mountain proudly presents Ron Getz Trio at the Vista Lounge. Ron Getz Trio features Don Julin on mandolin, Glen Wolff on acoustic bass and Ron Getz on guitar. Bringing jazz, latin and their original tunes to the mountain, everyone is sure to have a great time. No cover charge. Ages 21 and up only.

Savannah Buist and Katie Larson, The Accidentals, write their own catchy indie-pop-folk tunes. Quickly gaining popularity in Northern Michigan, these girls are creating quite a name for themselves and have a bright future ahead.

3-5pm: FREE Face Painting - Stop at the Inn Lounge for free face painting for all ages.

6-6:30pm: Snowmonsters Story Time - Join Snowball the Snow Tiger, Boarding Beaver or Powder Pig for story time at the Inn Lounge.

Beginning Saturday, December 21. Trees are free to houseguests while supplies last.


13th Annual Snowiest Snowflake Contest

Starting Saturday, December 21, stop by the Park at Water's Edge for all the supplies you need to create a one-of-a-kind snowflake. Rules are easy and the prizes are fun! Design a snowflake form a simple piece of paper. Prizes for the top three "snowiest snowflakes" in four age groups. Winners announced Sunday, January 6th and posted at the Park at Water's Edge. You do not need to be present to win.

Fat Tire Bike Rentals

The fat tires help make winter terrain maneuverable. Cruise a Fat Tire snow bike on our new designated bike trail. Trail pass required. Pick up bikes at the Park at Water's Edge. Cost: $10 per hour.


Ice Skate Rentals*

Skate rentals are available at the Park at Water's Edge on a first-come-first-serve basis. Cost: $5 per rental.
