December 21-23, 2012
Friday, December 21
Welcome Party Reception, 6-10pm
Get in the holiday spirit at the Inn Lobby from 6-10pm. Enjoy a free cup of hot cocoa or mingle at the cash bar with our winter specialties. Guests of all ages can participate in cookie decorating, snowflake making, caroling, and a bonfire by the large holiday tree outside.
Free Movie with Popcorn, 8-10pm
Enjoy a holiday favorite, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, on our large indoor screen. Location: Northwest Territories room in the Crystal Center.
Live Entertainment, 8pm-Midnight
Enjoy the music of acclaimed local acoustic artist Levi Britton, performing in the Vista Lounge.

2pm: Snowsports - Free Intro to Park session, Totem Park
5-5:30pm: SnowMonsters Story Time - Join Snowball the Snow Tiger, Boarding Beaver or Powder Pig for animated story time. Held in the Inn Lounge.
5-6pm: Open Play & Paint
6-7pm: Bead Bonanza. Create necklaces and more in the Inn Lobby. Cost: Items start at $6 per person.
7pm: Laser Tag at the Park at Water's Edge. Call ext. 7000.
7:30pm: Wild Wonders Moonlight Snowshoe Hike - Enjoy a guided snowshoe hike. Call ext. 7000 for details & reservations.
10:15-11pm: Adult-only pool time, Peak Fitness Center

Saturday, December 22
Dog Sled Rides, 1-5pm
Bundle up and hang on for a ride like no other! Reservations required, ext. 7000. Cost: $75 for up to 350 lbs.
Horse-Drawn Surrey Rides, 6pm
Be whisked away through our winter wonderland by a team of gentle Belgian horses. Rides include hot chocolate and post-ride bonfire. Reservations required, ext. 7000. Cost: $10 per person. Kids 8 & under ride free (one child per paid adult).

Gingerbread House Workshop, 7pm
Get your Gingerbread House kits at the Park at Water's Edge, $35/kit while supplies last. Then, on Saturday evening at 7pm, join us for a Gingerbread House Building Workshop at the Crystal Center, where construction materials include fresh gingerbread, whipped frosting, and a unique candy assortment. It's a great way to craft a tasty holiday memory! Reservations are required, ext. 7000.

Enjoy a holiday favorite, Christmas Carol with Jim Carey, on our large indoor screen. Location: Northwest Territories room in the Crystal Center.

6-9pm Night Owls snowshoe hike with pizza dinner and snow games. (9-12 years) More info.
9:30-10:30pm Wii Game Night - Challenge friends and family to a night of competition. Held in the Inn lounge.

Trees are free to houseguests while supplies last.
12th Annual Snowiest Snowflake Contest
Starting Saturday, Dec. 22, stop by the Park at Water's Edge for all the supplies you need to create a one-of-a-kind snowflake. Rules are easy and the prizes are fun! Design a snowflake from a simple piece of paper. Prizes for the top three "snowiest snowflakes" in four age groups. Winners announced Sunday, January 1st and posted at the Park at Water's Edge. You do not need to be present to win.
Horse-Drawn Surrey Rides
Be whisked away through our winter wonderland by a team of gentle Belgian horses. $10/person. Ages 8 & under ride free with a paying adult, one child per paying adult. Space is limited, reservations are required, ext. 7000. Offered select nights. First ride departs at 6pm with several rides per night.
