World Snow Day (January 22, 2012), created by the International Ski Federation, will be the centerpiece of January’s Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month.

Crystal’s World Snow Day event will feature displays from the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame (Ishpeming, MI), internationally inspired après ski cuisine and special activities and clinics designed to introduce a new generation to skiing and boarding.

“So many of us have been fortunate to be introduced to the sport by our parents, school organizers or family friends. World Snow Day will be a chance to return the favor by enthusiastically creating an environment where new people feel a welcome part of the skiing community.”
– Ron Shepard, Crystal's Snowsports School Director
