World Snow Day Celebration

Crystal's World Snow Day event will feature special activities and clinics designed to introduce a new generation to skiing and boarding.

In celebration of World Snow Day, Crystal Mountain is offering a variety of free activities geared to introduce "first timers" to the great world of snow. Try at least one activity in each category (Explore, Enjoy, Experience) to receive entry to win a lift ticket or Crystal Mountain Sweatshirt!

Lift ticket valid through March 31, 2014. Lift ticket excludes February 15-17, 2014.


Winter Snowsports Presentations: During these 30-minute presentations, Crystal's Snowsports Instructors will demonstrate proper use of winter sports equipment.
12pm: Adult Ski and Snowboard Presentation - Meet at Totem Park
1pm: Cross-Country Presentation - Meet at Totem Park
2pm: Snowshoeing Presentation - Meet at Park at Water's Edge
3pm: Kids Ski and Snowboard Presentation - Meet at Camp Totem


• Snow Castle Building Kits - Available at the Park at Water's Edge
• Snowman Search - Pick up clues at the Park at Water's Edge
• Rinkside Bonfire - Roast marshmallows and visit with Snowball the Snow Tiger

• Art of Snowmaking: Meet at the Snowcat by the slopeside tent


12-4pm: Ice Skating - 1-hr rentals at Park at Water's Edge
1-4pm: Snow Bikes - Test drive a Fat Tire Snow Bike at the Park at Water's Edge
2:30pm: Michigan Legacy Art Park - Meet at slopeside tent at 2:15 to catch the shuttle to Michigan Legacy Art Park

Become an Ambassador

This day is about sharing the love of winter sports! Become a World Snow Day Ambassador by bringing your friends and family and you'll receive discounts at Crystal's retail shops and dining, plus a chance to win a 2014-2015 Downhill Season Pass.

Additional Activities*

Dog Sledding: Rides available starting at 10am. $75 per sled. Reservations are required.

Crystal Quest: Booklet available for purchase at the Park at Water's Edge.

Outdoor Laser Tag: 2pm and 4pm. Participants must be ages 8 or older. $15 per person. Reservations are required.

Additional activities include a fee.
