A Monster Weekend at Crystal

Film Festival, Monster Fun, Local Foods and Plenty of Music

THOMPSONVILLE, MICH – Get ready for a  Monster Weekend at Crystal Mountain! It starts with a 5 for $50 Friday, March 15; bring a group of 5 people or more and everyone can ski, ride or play Outdoor Laser Tag for just $10 each. Friday night, join the kickoff party for the 7th Annual Teddy Knape Film Festival in the Wild Tomato. The film festival swings into high gear Saturday night from 6-8 in the Crystal Center.

Before the films begin on Saturday, March 16, the action will be on the mountain with Crystal’s annual Slush Cup, Cardboard Classic, and Spring Fling Luau. A slope-side DJ will keep the energy going, with help from Monster Energy, of course. A complete schedule of events can be found at www.crystalmountain.com/events/spring-fling-luau.

Saturday will also offer a chance to experience local foods from area farms – it’s the Taste the Local Difference Winter Festival presented by the Michigan Land Use Institute and Crystal Mountain – in the Crystal Center 4-7pm.

As a “Thank You” to all of our season pass holders, there will be a Season Pass Appreciation event Saturday night with giveaways and live music in the Vista Lounge. Music can also be found in the Crystal Center Saturday night, but you’ll need a pair of headphones to hear it – because it’s a Silent Disco Party starting at 8:30.

The weekend wraps-up with a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Sunday, complete with green beer and a DJ Deck Party.
