Wine, Wedges, and More at Crystal Mountain

New “Women Welcome Here” Series Tees-off This Month

THOMPSONVILLE, MICH – Whether or not you’ve ever picked up a pitching wedge before, Crystal Mountain is inviting women out to the golf course this summer with its “Women Welcome Here” series.

Historically, women make up about 20% of the total number of golfers in America. Crystal Mountain’s team of award-winning instructors is offering this special series of classes tailored specifically for women golfers of all levels and abilities.

Each of the three sessions ($99 each) will include a Friday night happy hour (6-8pm) and continue with a three hour class (9am-Noon) on Saturday.

The first session, Beginners Welcome Here, begins Friday, May 31. This is for women who are new to the game or who might be thinking about taking lessons. It’ll cover golf etiquette, the lingo of golf, and the fundamentals of a good golf swing.

Wine & Wedges is the theme for the June 14 & 15 workshop. Tackle the challenges of your short game while also tasting local, northern Michigan wines.

The series will wrap up with Pitch, Putt, Pint, & Pamper. What more could you want in a weekend? Learn all about the pitch shot and putting – and also a little something about local craft beers and a special invitation to enjoy Crystal Spa.
