Can you whirlybird, perform a falling leaf, demonstrate hop turns, or ride a rail? Get ready to show your stuff! Earn medals to signify your performance level. Look for the skills challenge symbol on the slopes to find skill stations describing the qualifying challenges you must perform.

Crystal View Feedback

Advanced skiers and snowboarders can now see themselves in action on a delayed loop video, located at the bottom of Thor and Lower Gorge. This is complimentary to houseguests, and can be incorporated into private lessons.

NASTAR

NASTAR (National Standard Race) provides a competitive racing program that - through a handicap system - allows racers from across the country to compare their scores. New slalom format added to the traditional NASTAR course set. See racing results online daily at nastar.com, then sign-up the day of the race at Crystal’s Snowsports Desk.
Times: 1pm daily, late December-March (excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Cost: $6 two runs, $1 each additional run, $10 daily-unlimited runs (within open hours), $85* NASTAR Season Pass

*NASTAR Season Passes do not include NASTAR medals. Awarded medals may be purchased for $1 at the finish shack.

NASTAR Cheers Speed Map

Want to know your speed through the finish? Ask the NASTAR staff about doing a Speed Trap run anytime NASTAR is in progress.
Cost: $1 per run, may be added to NASTAR-timed race run

Skier- And Boarder-Cross Course

Rip through Crystal’s own Skier- and Boarder-Cross course, offering open access to the venue plus NASTAR-timed events.
