Kids Snowsports Lessons at Crystal Mountain
Get your young ones off to a great start by enrolling them in a ski or snowboard lesson. Our youth instructors have been chosen specifically for their ability to teach and nurture children of all ages. Lessons take place at Totem Park, where your child will ski on two acres of groomed slopes, using innovative teaching aids that enhance their learning experience. Everyone has a blast riding our two Wonder Carpets™ Surface Lifts, which gently and effortlessly transport skiers and snowboarders uphill. Enjoy a comfortable ride to the top and find plenty of room to practice and explore in this designated "beginners only" terrain area. Novice skiers and riders are welcome in Totem Park even when not enrolled in lessons.
Kids Group Lessons
Programs sell out quickly; advanced reservations are strongly recommended for all programs and lessons. Lesson participants with their own equipment receive a $10 discount; lift tickets are sold separately. Reservations at 800.968.7686, ext. 5100.
Adventure Cubs Ski & Snowboard Programs
Ski, Ages 3-6; Snowboard, Ages 5-6
Beginner and intermediate skiing and snowboarding, specifically tailored to the needs of young adventurers. Classes are limited in size and arranged by age and ability. Children must be potty-trained and willing to participate. Space is limited and programs sell out quickly. Refunds are not offered.

Cubs Ski & Care
Ages 3+
Great for beginner and intermediate skiers who cannot stay outside all day. Snowboarders (minimum age 5) must demonstrate a pattern of movements prior to acceptance, and have previous "sliding platform" experience, such as skateboarding or wakeboarding.

Crystal Kids Ski & Snowboard
Ages 7-12
For beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders. These programs offer kids the opportunity to explore the slopes, improve their skills and make new friends. Our certified pros teach youngsters and arrange classes by age and ability. Please check-in at the Snowsports Desk one hour prior to start time; prior evening check-in is highly recommended.

Not all children respond to organized sports education in the same manner, or at the same rate. We encourage, but never require, students to participate in lesson activities, and may arrange alternate activities for unwilling participants. Daycare subject to availability.

Smart Start Private Lesson
Give your child the advantage with this 30-minute, private skills refresher course prior to their all-day program, or two-hour session.

Private Lessons
Provide your child with an accelerated learning environment customized to his or her particular needs - learning via experiences and exercises. Lift ticket and rental equipment not included.

Nanny McSki Doorstep Program
An elite instructor, certified by the PSIA/AASI and trained in childcare, will guide up to three children of similar ability. The instructor will meet the children at your doorstep, feed them breakfast/lunch, supervise equipment rentals/fittings, and hit the slopes for the day. Limited availability.

Kids Lessons Area & Chairlfit
Mountain Adventure Zone & Totem Park Learning Area
Mountain Adventure Zone is home to our Adventure Cubs Programs and Adventure Care Childcare. Totem Park learning area (located steps away) offers lessons for all levels and is serviced by two easy-to-ride carpet lifts.
Loki Quad Chairlift
Learning to ski and snowboard is even simpler with our Loki Quad chairlift, featuring an easy-load conveyor. Loki Quad Chairlift is adjacent to Totem Park.
