Summer Fun at Crystal Mountain

Crystal Mountain is northern Michigan's home for summer fun. Crystal Coaster Alpine Slide

Take a ride on the Crystal Coaster - Michigan's only alpine slide! Ride the Loki Quad chairlift to the top of the mountain and enjoy the view. Then hop on a sled and cruise down one of two parallel 250-foot-high, 1,600-foot-long curved tracks as they dip and dive their way down the mountain.

Park at Water's Edge Outdoor Pool

The Park at Water's Edge is a splash-tastic, one-acre complex featuring a large outdoor aquatic playground with water cannons, bubbling spouts, zero-depth entry pool, four lap lanes, water volleyball and basketball. A sand play area, outdoor hot tub, and challenging rock climbing wall are also located in the park.

Located across from the Inn at the Mountain. Daily, group and membership rates are available. FREE to houseguests.

Mountain Biking

Hit the bike trails at Crystal Mountain for a dynamic mountain biking experience. Enjoy miles of beginner, intermediate and advanced on-site mountain bike trails that connect to the Betsie River Pathway as well as the easily accessible 22-mile Betsie Valley Trail and our NEW downhill trails. Bike rentals available.

Paintball

Challenge your friends and family to a round of paintball on our newly designed Speed Ball Course or the brand new Woods Course. Not ready to dodge bullets? Try your aim at Target Time. Must be at least 10 years old to play a course and 8 years old to shoot targets.

Golf Crystal Mountain

Crystal Mountain offers an exceptional northern Michigan golf experience. With two distinctly different golf courses - both of which have received a four-star rating golf course from Golf Digest magazine - you are sure to find everything you expect from this premier northern Michigan golf resort.

Disc Golf

Play a round or two on Crystal Mountain's complimentary nine-hole disc golf course. Discs available for rent or purchase at the Park at Water's Edge.

Vertical Edge Climbing Wall

Vertical Edge Climbing Wall is an exciting 32' climbing wall located in the Park at Water's Edge. Single climbs, double climbs, group rates and memberships are available.

Michigan Legacy Art Park

Explore the award-winning Michigan Legacy Art Park, located on a 30-acre preserve of wooded hills within the grounds of Crystal Mountain. With over 40 works of art, each representing a piece of Michigan history, the Art Park provides a rich cultural experience for thousands of visitors annually.

Adventure School

Ready for summer adventure? Our Adventure School lessons will get you prepped for must-do summer activities such as fly casting, rock climbing, mountain biking, and more.

Adventure Childcare

We offer several kids drop-off programs for kids ages 12 and under, as well as in-room babysitting services and a nursery. Programs must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability.

Northern Michigan Adventures

At Crystal, adventure has no limits. We offer several off-site escapes for those who wish to explore the great Northern Michigan outdoors beyond Crystal Mountain.
