Open Race Clinics
December 26, 2009 - January 2, 2010: 9:30-11:30 am daily
January 10 - March 14, 2010: Sundays from 9:30-11:30 am
Improve your NASTAR or race league results as well as basic skiing fundamentals. Coaches will personally critique each racer. Clinic terrain selection and courses vary. Experienced skiers only. Skier 12 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Advance reservations recommended, call ext. 2000.

Join one of our Open Race Clinics a single time to try it out, or several times using a Punch Card.

Private Race Lessons
Racers of all ages and abilities will benefit from this one-on-one instruction in the gates. Our certified race coaches set training courses to help you improve your technique, skill and speed. Giant slalom and slalom training are available. Semi-private lessons can be arranged for up to four participants of the same ability level. Lift ticket and rental equipment are not included in private lesson rates. Advance reservations required. Please contact the Snowsports Desk at (800) 968-7686 ext. 2000.

Adult Race League
Enjoy all the thrills, camaraderie and social atmosphere of our race league this winter! Crystal's popular Thursday Night League for beginner through advanced racers is held primarily on Cheers. Afterwards, enjoy sponsored festivities in the Vista Lounge with live music and food. NASTAR
NASTAR (National Standard Race) provides a fun, competitive racing program that, through a handicap system, allows racers of all ages and abilities to compare themselves to one another regardless of when and where they race. Crystal uploads the racing results daily, so go online and check your results compared to other racers across the country. Register at nastar.com and then sign-up the day of the race at the Snowsports Desk.

Developed by SKI Magazine in 1968, NASTAR (National Standard Race) is the largest recreational ski and snowboard race program in the world. The NASTAR mission is simple… to provide a fun, competitive and easily accessible racing program that through the development of handicap system, allows racers of all ages and abilities, a means to compare themselves to one another regardless of when and where they race. Participants have an opportunity to win a Bronze, Silver or Gold medal each time they race. Participants can also track their progress with NASTAR on www.nastar.com and can qualify for the NASTAR National Championships at Steamboat, Colorado March 26-29, 2009.

You may register at the Crystal Mountain Snowsports Desk or online at www.nastar.com. Once registered, you will be given a code to use to sign up for all races each season. Save time and register online before the season begins. Crystal uploads the races daily so that you may go online and check your results compared to other racers across the country. Crystal Mountain is proud to be ranked 13th in North America for NASTAR participants.
