Retired Not Tired (Ages 50+)
An industry recognized program offered to local, outdoor club members (including Senior Centers), who wish to return to the sport of skiing but need support. Instructors can relate not only to the challenges, but also to the desire to stay fit and active. The Retired Not Tired program strives to provide an opportunity for the retired community to actively enjoy winter in the company of their peers. Our goal is for students to learn in a safe, self-paced environment while gaining exposure to equipment that will enhance the learning experience. The Retired Not Tired Program begins January 7, 2020
Intended for both beginners and people who have not skied in many years, the Teaching Program starts at the beginner level and progresses through needed skills required to truly enjoy skiing. Our curriculum is tailored to each participant's goals and ability levels.
Each lesson will include pre-ski lectures, two-hours of on-snow instruction and a post-ski debriefing. Lessons will begin in January and run through the end of February. Upon completing three lessons, students can apply the cost of the lessons toward the purchase of a Season Pass.
Days and Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:15am
Cost: $39 per lesson. Includes instruction, a 9am-4:30pm lift ticket, plus rental skis, boots, poles and helmet.
