Northern Michigan Spas Unite In Fight Against Hunger
Thompsonville, MI – Seven northern Michigan spas have banded together in the fight against hunger. Northern Michigan Spa Tour, whose mission is to inspire health and well-being while growing the spa industry through education and philanthropy, will coordinate a Week of Giving to benefit northern Michigan food pantries.
From November 4 to November 10, participating spas will donate $5 from each 50-minute or longer spa service received. Guests who bring in canned goods in the fundraising week will receive $1 per can in spa bucks, which can be used towards spa services during that week only with a limit of $25 in spa bucks.
“We are excited to be a part of this year’s Spa Tour Week of Giving,” says Stephanie Scott, manager at Crystal Mountain’s Crystal Spa. “This is a great opportunity for clients new to Crystal Spa to experience it first hand and, at the same time, help our friends at BACN (Benzie Area Christian Neighbors). We also have many regular clients who look forward to this event so they can treat themselves to a wonderful experience while helping others through their donation.”
To reserve an appointment during the Week of Giving, please contact a participating spa or visit: www.spatour.org.
