First Tracks Ski & Snowboard
Crystal Mountain provides one of the best beginner ski and snowboard experiences in Michigan. Our First Tracks program is designed for those who have never tried skiing or snowboarding. By using our station teaching method, our beginner lessons are run out of Totem Park and utilizes specialized equipment combined with a dedicated learning environment. Learn quicker, easier and have more fun! Geared for beginners, ages 7 - 12. Only available weekends and holidays.
Prior to your lesson, please fill out your 2021-2022 Snowsports Waiver .
It is recommended that all lessons, rentals and lift tickets be reserved a minimum of seven days in advance. Having a lesson does not ensure that rentals are available and must be purchased separately. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets online in advance.
All lessons check in at the Mountain Adventure Zone for instruction. If you are renting equipment, please plan to also complete a rental waiver. We recommend checking in at least 60 minutes prior to your lesson time, or the evening prior.
