Michigan Beer and Brat Festival postponed to 2022
May 18, 2021
THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (May 18, 2021) – The Michigan Beer and Brat Festival has been reimagined for this year, a temporary move until it can resume to its traditional operations in 2022.
Rather than host a huge gathering of thousands of guests, the resort will instead feature individual specialty brat and beer pairings every Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Crystal Mountain Executive Chef Jack Wenz will prepare and serve brats paired with Michigan-made craft beers throughout the resort on weekends. Those pairings will also be available for sale in the Mountain Market for guests to take home and prepare themselves.
“Reimagining the event is a responsible course of action at this time,” John Melcher, Crystal Mountain chief operating officer, said. “We’re excited for 2022 and seeing a return of the traditional and large-scale festival, welcoming back thousands of guests for the official start of summer.”
A listing of weekly beer and brat pairings are available at CrystalMountain.com/events.
