Michigan Legacy Art Park Hosts Fall Stewardship Days Call for Volunteers
September 20, 2021
THOMPSONVILLE, MICH – Michigan Legacy Art Park is looking for volunteers to help with Fall Clean up at the Art Park in October. The Art Park is a non-profit organization that relies on the efforts and dedication of volunteers. “With their time, effort, and enthusiasm, so much work can be accomplished in such a short amount of time,” shared Angie Quinn, Executive Director. With approximately two miles of trail and over 50 sculptures to clear around, it takes a team effort. Stewardship Days are the first four Saturdays in October from 9am-Noon. If you have a garden or leaf rake handy, please bring it along. Volunteers will be raking, winterizing, and moving small brush.
If you’d like to help out any day, you may submit a volunteer form, call 231-378-4963 or email kerry@michlegacyartpark.org – or simply show up at the trailhead. Even an hour helps - plus there will be beautiful fall colors starting to peak at the trail.
