Snowshoeing is permitted on all property except the downhill slopes and cross-country trails. Our winter wonderland is your playground.
Highlighted by Michigan Legacy Art Park, featuring exceptional sculptures, groomed trails, and an outdoor amphitheatre, there's plenty to enjoy.
Available daily during day-time hours. Snowshoeing is weather permitting and may be intermittently unavailable. Parental supervision is required.
Snowshoe Rentals
Snowshoe rentals are available at the Cross-Country Center. Limited quantities available on a first come, first served basis. Rentals available until approximately one-hour before sunset. Geared for ages 6+.
Cost: $15 per hour, per pair of snowshoes
Requirements
- Parent or guardian will need to sign a waiver for participants under the age of 18.
- Be prepared to snowshoe. Your rental begins when payment is complete. Dress in layers, as snowshoeing is an excellent workout! We recommend moisture wicking layers under athletic wear.
- Wear appropriate footwear. Snowshoes work best for boots with a rubber sole. Fashion style boots may have difficulty keeping snowshoes from slipping. Tennis shoes or hiking boots will get wet. Ski and snowboard boots will not fit in a snowshoe.
