Cast a line and hit the links in this ultimate dual-sport challenge held during Michigan's Free Fishing Weekend. Compete in two-person teams for glory on the water and the greens.

Morning: Fishing

Kick off the morning on the water. Since it is Free Fishing Weekend in Michigan, no license is required!

  • Check-In: 7am at Kinlochen Plaza for instructions.
  • Format: Catch and Release until 12pm.
  • Proof of Catch: Teams must weigh their fish and take a selfie as proof. Photos must be presented upon return to Crystal Mountain.

Afternoon: Golfing

After you return from fishing, enjoy a lunch at Crystal while you get ready for golf. Then switch out your rods for your clubs as we head to the Betsie Valley golf course.

  • Golf Start Time: 1:30 PM 
  • Format: The "6-6-6" Challenge.
    • 6 Holes: Best Ball
    • 6 Holes: Scramble
    • 6 Holes: Alternate Shot

Awards

After the final putt, join us for a post-tournament celebration at the Kinlochen Plaza, beginning at 6pm.

Awards will be given for the Winning Fishing Team, Winning Golf Team, and the Overall Combined Champions. Skins will be distributed as gift cards.
