Crystal Mountain's cross-country skiing trail network was rated the #1 in Michigan by Midwest Living Magazine readers for a reason. Our 25 km of Cross-Country ski trails offer a perfect experience for everyone, from seasoned skiers to those new to the sport.
Crystal Mountain's Cross-Country Center features a mini-trail system with flat and hilly sections designed to develop both skate skiing and classic cross-country techniques. The Cross-Country Center is located .7 miles from Kinlochen on Mountain Center Road.
Trail Passes & Rentals
24-Hour Trail Pass: Valid morning, noon and night. Perfect for the skier who wants to hit the trails any time of day or multi-day visitors looking to explore all of our scenic trails.
4-Hour Trail Pass: Enjoy four consecutive hours of cross-country skiing—ideal for an afternoon workout, a peaceful morning glide, or an evening tour under the stars.
Rentals: Only available as a 24-hour rental.
Please Note: Trail passes and rental equipment must be picked up by 5pm when the Cross-Country Center closes.
