Reserve your rental equipment online at least 48-hours prior to your arrival for guaranteed sizing. Rentals not purchased online may be available on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee late requests for rentals.
CRYSTAL CHANGE POLICY
Rentals purchased online are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if your plans change please visit our Change Form and we will provide you with a voucher, of equal or lesser value, to be used by the end of this season. To request the change, fill out the Change Form no later than 4pm the day before your rental was set to begin.
Crystal Mountain's rental fleet of Head skis, Burton snowboards, and boots are designed for fun and enjoyment, for both the beginner and the accomplished skier or rider. All Downhill Equipment Rental Packages include a helmet.
Rental Equipment Terms
- Downhill Equipment Rental includes: Skis, Boots and Helmet OR Snowboard, Boots, Bindings and Helmet.
- Helmets are not required but are recommended.
- All rental equipment is due back within 30-minutes of lifts closing on date of return.
- Late Rental Return Fee: $75
- Ages 17 & younger must have a parent/guardian signature.

Crystal Mountain's Demo Equipment program is a great option for adults looking for a premium rental experience or to try out new models on the slopes.
All demo models are available for purchase at Mountain Sports. If you purchase equipment within 48-hours of your rental, your demo fee will be applied toward your purchase (max one day value)!

Guided Demo Experience
Sign up for a Guided Demo Experience and leave with 100% confidence that you have the right gear for you and your skiing style. The Guided Demo Experience is limited to two guests per guide, however any non-demoing family members are free to join us.
Meet with our expert team at our Demo Center at Kinlochen to start your journey. We'll start with a biomechanical assessment and look at your foot structure and shape. We'll try on different boot sizes and flexes to find your perfect fit. Then, we'll choose a few different models of demo skis to test out on the slopes - we have over 90 skis available to try!
Your guide will help you explore the mountain and show you the best spots to explore based on your skill level. This is not a lesson, but rather an opportunity to pick up a few tips to help boost your confidence and skills along the way. After a couple of runs, your guide may make an equipment change based on observations and feedback.
From there, we'll put together the right kit for you with special attention to your boot fit. Your guide will help you select a starting point for your boot, but we still recommend having a professional boot fitting, which can be done at Mountain Sports. Request Your Boot Fitting Online »
After your experience, you'll receive a $100 coupon to put towards a pair of skis or boots from Mountain Sports!

Tickets and rental
Located in the crystal center
Tickets and Rentals are located in the lower level of the Crystal Center. We open at 8:30am daily and close 30 minutes after the lifts stop running.
To purchase rental equipment, please visit our Ticket and Rental office in the lower level of the Crystal Center. You will need to check-in at one of our kiosk stations to fill out your rental information. This is then sent to our Rental Desk, where you will pay for your rental and pick up your rental ticket. Then, our certified rental technicians will take you back to provide your gear and make sure your equipment is adjusted properly for safety and enjoyment.
