(AGES 55+)

An industry recognized program offered to local, outdoor club members (including Senior Centers), who wish to return to the sport of skiing but need support. Instructors can relate not only to the challenges, but also to the desire to stay fit and active. The Retired Not Tired program strives to provide an opportunity for the retired community to actively enjoy winter in the company of their peers. Our goal is for students to learn in a safe, self-paced environment while gaining exposure to equipment that will enhance the learning experience.

Please check-in for your program by 9am at the Mountain Adventure Zone. If you need rental equipment, please go into the lower level of the Crystal Center to the Rental Desk.

The 2024 Retired Not Tired program begins on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Intended for both beginners and people who have not skied in many years, the Teaching Program starts at the beginner level and progresses through needed skills required to truly enjoy skiing. Our curriculum is tailored to each participant's goals and ability levels.

Each lesson will include pre-ski lectures, two-hours of on-snow instruction and a post-ski debriefing. Lessons will begin January 9, 2024 and run through February 29, 2024.  Lessons are offered Tuesday’s & Thursdays at 9am and require reservations.

Cost: $59 per class. Includes rentals and lesson lift ticket. Upon completing three lessons, first year participants can apply the cost of the lessons toward the purchase of a Season Pass (a $177 discount!).

Must sign up at least 48-hours in advance to ensure the appropriate amount of instructors are available. Please call Jessicca Kelly at 231-378-3109.

The Club Program is a great way for retirees to gather, find friends, and stay active. The Club also provides members with an opportunity to improve their skiing ability through regularly scheduled clinics with our certified instructors.

Club Clinics

Club Clinics are designed to help skiers of all ability levels through the use of lectures, training films, and on-hill ski clinics. Clinics are offered to members only by PSIA Level 4 Examiner, Chris Fisher on Wednesday’s at 9am. Begins January 10, 2024 and runs through February 28, 2024.

Cost: $59 for all eight clinics*.

*Participants who do not have a season pass, lift ticket or personal equipment will be required to pay $59 per visit for a lesson lift ticket and equipment rental.

To make advanced reservations, please contact Jessicca Kelly at 231-378-3109.
