Andrew Pawlowski Hired as Group Sales Manager

THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (August 23, 2024) – Crystal Mountain is thrilled to announce Andrew Pawlowski as Group Sales Manager. Pawlowski comes to the resort with fantastic sales experience in the hospitality industry.
“Andrew is a well-rounded and accomplished individual who brings years of sales experience to the Crystal Mountain group sales team,” said Arah Johnson, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. “His extensive career background working with corporate group business, large event space, and business travel accounts will serve him well as he looks to bring new clients and guests to our four-season resort.”
Pawlowski comes to Crystal Mountain after nearly a decade of working at hotels in Chicago, San Diego, and Indianapolis. He has held positions at Embassy Suites, Hampton, and most recently, at Hyatt Regency as associate director of sales.
In addition to hospitality sales experience, Pawlowski is skilled in marketing and membership relations. Before transferring to the Michigan Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), he served on the board as director of communications for the Indiana chapter, as well as on various committees including leadership development and membership retention.
As group sales manager for Crystal Mountain, Pawlowski will be responsible for corporate groups and assisting them with events at the resort.
“I am eager and excited to use my experience in hospitality thus far to contribute to the Crystal Mountain group sales team,” said Pawlowski. “Crystal is truly an exceptional place and I look forward to attracting more groups and events to expose more people to the unique experiences offered at this four-season resort.”
Outside of the office, Pawlowski spends a lot of time outdoors with his wife and three young kids who all participate in the 1,000 Hours Outside Challenge.
“We are always making time for hiking, camping, skiing, and more, so being a part of the Crystal Mountain family and having access to endless outdoor activities and recreation will make our family time even more special and enjoyable.”
Pawlowski attended the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs.
