Gateway to Black Eden Celebration

Michigan Legacy Art Park is celebrating the newest sculpture in their permanent collection, “Gateway to Black Eden.”   

Schedule

9:30am:  Drop-in art project (Held inside the Lodge, Vista Lounge)
11:30am: Family-friendly brown bag lunch and concert with Marion Hayden and Legacy sharing the history of jazz music (Held inside the Lodge, Vista Lounge)
12:30pm: Artist talk by the sculptor, Saffell Gardner on the process of creating the sculpture and its connection to the history of Idlewild, Michigan (Held inside the Lodge, Vista Lounge)
1pm: Celebration with light refreshments at the Art Park amphitheater.

Free park admission all day. Anyone interested in sculpture, jazz, and the history of Idlewild, Michigan should plan to attend!
