Crystal Mountain included among Fodor’s list of “15 Best U.S. Resorts for Fall Getaways”

THOMPSONVILLE, MI - Fodor’s Travel, the world’s largest publisher of English language travel and tourism information, has named Crystal Mountain among its list of 15 Best US Resorts for Fall Getaways.
Crystal Mountain appeared eighth on the list that included just one other resort from the Midwest among destinations in locales ranging from Aspen, Colorado to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. The announcement comes as the northern Michigan prepares to enter the fall color season over the next couple of weeks. Fodor’s Travel receives 4.3 million unique visitors to its website each month with an average of 26.5 million page views, offering highly curated, expert advice on the best hotels, sights, restaurants, shops, and nightlife for every traveler's taste and budget.
Crystal Mountain was cited by the travel site for its “plush cottages and bungalows,” Michigan Legacy Art Park and “bike paths through the multi-colored mountain forest.” In addition, the resort is just a short drive from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and scenic M-22, part of “Michigan’s Gold Coast” which has been recognized by Travel + Leisure magazine and USA Today as one of America’s Best Fall Foliage Drives.
