Private Lessons
If you're a first timer or a seasoned expert, our instructors can customize instruction to expand your skills and help you reach your goals! If availability allows, we recommend requesting your favorite instructor. Lessons begin on December 14, 2024.
Lift tickets and rental are not included in lesson price and must be purchased separately for each participant. It is recommended that all lessons, rental and lift tickets be reserved a minimum of seven days in advance. Having a lesson does not ensure that rental equipment is available which must be purchased separately. We highly recommend purchasing online in advance. Helmets are required for all lessons at Crystal Mountain. Children taking a lesson must be at least 3 years old and able to use the restroom on their own.
The Basic Private Lesson - 50 minutes
This is a great place for anyone to start or for experienced skiers and riders who need a quick refresher. First timers will primarily spend their time in the Mountain Adventure Zone Beginner Area and experienced skiers and snowboarders can expect to ride the chairlift. This lesson is for all ages 3+ and highly recommended for 3-4 year olds.
This lesson is a private or semi-private lesson only. Lift tickets and rental are not included in lesson price and must be purchased separately for each participant. Each additional student added (up to three additional students) will receive $20 off each added person from the rates listed below.
TIME: Offered daily at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

The Builder Private Lesson - 110 Minutes
This is an ideal personal development lesson for all abilities. Instructors will tailor your lesson to fit your personal goals.

Nanny McSki
Available for ages 6 - 17. Our industry-recognized and award-winning program returns. An elite instructor, certified by the PSIA/AASI and trained in childcare, will guide up to three children of similar ability. The instructor will meet the children at your doorstep, supervise equipment rentals and fittings, and hit the slopes for the day (9am - 4pm).
Lunch will be provided with a preapproved menu. All participants must be on the same kind of equipment, either skis or snowboards. Kids must be able to use the restroom on their own.
Lift tickets and rental are not included in lesson price and must be purchased separately for each participant.
TIME: Offered daily from 9am - 4pm.

Private Race Lesson
Test your speed with this one-on-one private lesson! You'll have access to the NASTAR course with one of our highly certified race specialists. We focus on fundamentals of current race techniques as well as teaching the fastest line through a slalom and GS course. Coaches will teach you the fundamentals and correct technique required for success on a race course. Whether you are fine tuning your skills or are just beginning to learn, our experienced coaches will help you learn in a safe progression tailored for you to achieve the best results.

Adult Performance Experience
Ready to push your skiing to the limit? Our Adult Performance Experience offers the ultimate challenge for intermediate to advanced skiers. Learn from highly-certified PSIA instructors and master advanced techniques to take your skiing to new heights. Our team will work closely with Mountain Sports to provide students with our top-performing gear, part of our Demo Rental Program.
This advanced-level course is designed for intermediate to advanced skiers seeking to:
- Refine their technique: Deepen their skills in specific areas or overall performance.
- Optimize equipment: Understand how different gear choices impact performance in various conditions.
- Become a self-coach: Learn effective self-assessment and coaching techniques.
- Learn the art of movement analysis: Discover the basics of video analysis and apply it to take your skiing to the next level.
Half Day: $400 per student
Full Day: $800 per student
Additional Students: $100 per student (up to three additional students, for a maximum of four per lesson)
