Holiday Happenings at Crystal Mountain - Oh What Fun!
December 15, 2021
THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (Dec. 15, 2021) – Holiday dinner buffets, skiing Santa and the snowiest snowflake contest – oh what fun! Crystal Mountain has festive activities for the whole family this winter.
Holiday celebrations kick off this Friday through January 2, 2022, with daily events:
- Pick-a-Tree: Pick out the perfect holiday tree for just $15 at the Park at Water’s Edge.
- Snowiest Snowflake Contest: Create a unique snowflake and the top three snowiest snowflakes in each age group will receive a prize.
- Rentals: Ice skates, snowshoes, cross country skis, movies, fat tire bikes, snowboards and skis are all available to rent. Prices vary and select activities are weather dependent.
Outdoor Laser Tag, Horse Drawn Surrey Rides with hot cocoa and Archery are some other outdoor activities lined up for this winter, as well as Fat Tire Bike Tours on select dates.
“We know vacation isn’t always one-size-fits-all,” Jen Roberts, recreation manager, said. “So we try to make sure there are plenty of recreation options for families to do together, where they can create not only a craft to take home but memories as well.”
There’s snow better way to ring in 2022 than on the slopes! Those with a Dec. 31 lift ticket or season pass can sign up to be a part of the NYE Family Glow Light and Torchlight Parades. The first 100 people ages 18 and up will get a torch and the first 100 kids will get a glow stick. The parades start at 10 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks show will follow immediately after.
Choose one of the delicious Holiday Dinners from the Thistle Pub and Grille or the Wild Tomato before dancing the night away at the Vista Lounge. Boone Doggies will be performing live for ages 21 and up. Meanwhile, the Crystal Center will host the NYE Family Party with live entertainment, a dinner buffet with non-alcoholic drinks, a cash bar and party favors.
Relax, rejoice and save up to 25% by booking one of the Hot Lodging Dates. Kids ages 7-17 ski free Sunday through Thursday on a Ski Package and ages 6 and under sleep and eat breakfast free anytime. Lodging guests have free access to the outdoor hot tub, Michigan Legacy Art Park, Peak Fitness Center and Indoor Pool.
